An honest number instead of a good feeling

The Noise Guard Score shows you at a glance how calm a page currently is and how much Noise Guard reduced. No leaderboard, no comparison with others, no artificial reward loop.

Noise Guard Score
87

How calm this page currently is.

What the score actually shows

The value from 0 to 100 flows from signals already detected locally: ad density, toxic comments, manipulation patterns, attention pressure. Hovering over the number shows exactly which factor lowered it and by how much, no black box.

If a page's data is too thin for a reliable assessment, Noise Guard deliberately shows "–" instead of making up a number.

The reason behind it

Why no leaderboard, no comparison?

Point systems, leaderboards, and comparisons with others are themselves an attention mechanism: they create the urge to check more often, to improve, to keep up. That's exactly what we didn't want to build into a tool that fights precisely those mechanisms.

The score is therefore deliberately just a snapshot of the current page, not a progress or competition system.

Honestly

What the score isn't

The Noise Guard Score is a heuristic estimate from local signals, not a measured, objective value. Two very similar pages can show slightly different values depending on what Noise Guard actually finds in the page content at the moment of measurement.
