A page, minus the clutter

Clean Page removes popups, sticky banners, and other intrusive elements. Forms, input fields, and videos are guaranteed to stay untouched, in four adjustable levels.

What Noise Guard actually does

Clean Page detects intrusive elements structurally, by position, size, and behavior (e.g. elements that stick to the screen while scrolling), not by a fixed list of sites. Four levels, from "Off" to "Focused", control how aggressively this happens.

A protection guarantee applies at every level: elements containing a form, an input field, or a video are never touched, even if they would otherwise match the pattern. This prevents Noise Guard from ever accidentally breaking a real function.

The reason behind it

Why intrusive elements work so well

Popups and sticky banners exploit a simple fact: an interruption automatically draws attention, whether wanted or not. The brain prioritizes processing sudden changes in the visual field, a mechanism that originally served to detect danger, now used to sell newsletter subscriptions.

The more often this happens, the more mental effort it costs to filter it back out, effort that adds up over an entire browsing session even when each individual popup seems minor.

Honestly

What Clean Page can't guarantee

On very unusual page layouts, structural detection can occasionally miss something or, rarely, hide something that shouldn't be hidden. That's exactly what the element picker and the "always keep" exception exist for, to correct manually within seconds.
